when someone has Severe Anxiety Disorder..
and mentions Suicide...
In all seriousness, would this be more a possibility, than a threat???

I'm just asking for a friend of mine sitting here...

Hmm..I never delt with anyone with that disorder...Or I should say the werent diagnosed with it....Most times the doctors pumped them full of pills when they mentioned suicide..I will say this...
It could be a cry for help/attention...but I have never seen a suicide where they told someone first...Although I have always been taught when someone keeps saying they are goin to kill themselves..You have to listen everytime...Cause that might just be the time they will...Maybe she just needs a friend to talk to mel..?

there are signs given by a person who is considering suecide. being with drawn, giving their things away, notes or and the way they want to be barried. who they want to have their things. but when a person says they are going to kill them selves it is mostly attention that they want.
any ways, if one person dies it just decreases the populous surplus...*LOL*

there are two things that you have to do in life? one is being born and the other is dieing! we all have to do both....

i have known 2 people who commited suicide. 1 of them threatened it for years and after a while no one took him seriously. we should have. the other never mentioned suicide at all. but 6 days before christmas one year he came to our house (he was the neighbor) and told us that he had some christmas decorations and some pots and pans, dishes etc. that he didn't need anymore and asked if we wanted them. we were very poor at the time and assumed he was just trying to help us out without it seeming like charity. we were very grateful. the next morning i made a really big casserole for dinner that night. i made extra for the neighbor as a thank you. when i came home from work that afternoon my husband told me that the neighbor had gone out into his garden and eaten his shotgun about 3 hours before.
long story short (or is it too late for that?) i believe every suicide threat should be taken seriously. some talk about it, some don't. maybe it is a ploy to get attention, maybe not. but does it hurt to give the attention anyway?
